As Sportspeople…

Our Children will:

  • Develop competence to excel in a broad range of physical activities
  • Be physically active for sustained periods of time engaging in competitive sports and activities and lead healthy, active lives.

At Greenford School, we follow the Primary PE Passport curriculum planning scheme in order to make sure our pupils have access to a broad and balanced PE curriculum. From a range of suggested units of work, we have chosen elements of the PE curriculum which best suit our children to achieve the aims of the National Curriculum.

 Bronze Ambassadors

Each year, a group of Year 5 children are selected to become Bronze Ambassador. They spend a day at Beaminster School, learning how to lead games and promote PE and sport throughout our school. The Bronze Ambassadors then have the responsibility of organising playground games for younger children during lunchtime break.
